- Soak dal for 5 hrs and grind it without using water.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add hing, jeera, coriander powder, sauf powder red chilli powder and roast it and than add dal in it.
- Mix it nicely and add garam masala, dry mango powder and salt and mix it so that all masala get blended inside dal.
- Take out in a plate and let it cool.
- In a mixing bowl add maida, salt, ajwain and oil in it and Knead it to soft dough.
- In dal mix add pinch of baking soda and mix it.
- Heat oil in wok.
- Take a portion of the dough and flatten it and fill the dal mix and seal it nicely and roll slightly with a rolling pin and fry in a low medium flame.
- For sabzi heat oil in a pan and add hing, jeera as it sputter add ginger and green chilli and coriander powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder and half cup water and stir it till oil separate.
- Add potato and water, garam masala and salt to taste and let it simmer on low flame.
- Garnish with chopped fresh water and serve it with Khasta.
